It has been years since I last tried to put something down on paper seriously. The last time was probably in early high school, if not even longer. The old paper and pencil method... I've been just sketching stuff and trying to come up with my own style, and adapt ideas I've seen in the work of others. Yeah, I used tutorials to pump myself up... I dunno, it made it seem just like lines on paper, and that really worked for me to get down and just try stuff. I really would like someway to post it up here, but alas... no scanner. I'm thinking of buying a tablet/getting one as a gift so I can clean up my pics and sketches. I was amazed at how much I've matured artistically since the last time I can remember attempting to draw. Even though I was just practicing techniques and styles I ended up finishing 2 sketches that I think look pretty good... especially since I haven't done anything for so long. Maybe I'll take pictures of them and post the pics... if not I'll redraw them once I've decided on a tablet.
